Insights from over 100 advisors surveyed by FRC indicate a growing change taking place in advisors allocations to international mutual funds and other investment products. FRC believes this change may represent a secular trend in investor behavior. In this study, FRC examines this trend, the investment industry's response to the increase of international allocations, and advisors expectations for future use of international products. Additionally, FRC takes a closer look at the changes in advisors selection criteria for choosing international products and managers, allocations for different types of investors - ranging from 401(k) investors, to retirees, to high-net-worth investors, and the types of products and services advisors are looking for.
